Christopher Pearson

Christopher Pearson is an Australian journalist who writes for The Australian.

He comes from Adelaide and received a Bachelor of Arts with Honours from Flinders University as well as a Graduate Diploma in Education from the University of Adelaide. He is currently a member of the Council of the National Museum of Australia and a member of the Board of the government-owned SBS television station.[1] Christopher Pearson served as a speech writer to the former Prime Minister of Australia, John Howard.

In his present employment with The Australian, Pearson writes commentaries and articles that cover a wide variety of cultural and religious matters pertaining to Australian society. He has, on occasion, written about international issues such as global warming.

In a September 2009 piece in The Australian, Pearson wrote about how he reconciles his homosexuality with his Catholicism.[2]
